The very purpose of PR is to highlight the products and motives of the company. But when it comes to start-ups the lines are blurred. Has the main challenge for any start-up is the establishment in the market space. This is where the lines get blurred between the social media marketer and the PR of the company.

Why PR is important

However, if a PR have to opt for a strategy while starting a new venture these are the things s/he should be focusing on;

  1. The Brand Establishment/ Awareness: Despite having multiple social media platforms, it is a very strategic move to choose where one wants their presence. This is very a PR dos a market analysis and decides the correct medium reach the right eyes.
  2. Creating a story: The PR manager should be able to resonate the purpose of the company with its customers, giving them a sense of Family.
  3. Focus more on developing a loyal customer base: PR is the representative of the company, s/he should be more focused on how they interact with customers reaching out to them in regards to anything. Developing an assurance and proper service is key to a loyal customer base & a major part of PR duties.
  4. Keep informed: The other major role of PR is to keep the customers/Investors informed about the projects ongoing/coming up. This will keep them connected and engaged in the activities of the company.
  5. Making Difference: Every start-up’s core purpose is to make difference. It is a vital role of PR to highlight what difference their product is making to their lives.
